Does the child lose their place while reading? Do they use a finger or marker to follow text? Do their eyes skip words, lines, or repeat lines when reading? Do they get tired quickly when reading? Do they avoid tasks that involve a lot of visual focus? Does the child confuse letters that look similar (b/d, p/q, m/w)? Do they reverse letters or numbers when reading or writing? Do they struggle to recognize familiar words quickly? Do they read the same word differently each time? Do they have difficulty sounding out words despite instruction?
